Terms and Conditions
Welcome to your CityFit Brentford membership.
Your membership is governed by these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). Please read them carefully before signing up, as they explain your rights and our legal obligations.
By completing the sign-up process and/or using our facilities, you confirm that you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not proceed with registration or use the gym.
References to “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to CityFit Brentford (LavWill Ltd).
References to “you” or “your” refer to the Member.

- DEFINITIONS
- Access – Kisi App access granting entry to the gym
• Branch – The CityFit location you sign up to
• Direct Debit – The automated monthly payment agreement with your bank
• Health Declaration – Health & fitness declaration completed at signup
• Joining Fee – One-off joining charge (if applicable)
• Member – A person holding an active CityFit membership
• Monthly Fee – The monthly membership charge
• Promotional Code – Any promotional or discount rate applied
• Rules – Gym rules displayed in-branch and online
- JOINING
3.1 Membership may be completed online or in-branch.
3.2 A contract is formed once payment is made.
3.3 Members must be at least 16 years old.
3.4 Rules may be amended with 24 hours’ notice.
3.5 Confirmation will be sent by email.
3.6 CityFit may refuse or cancel membership if information provided is false or misleading.
- ACCESS
4.1 Gym access is provided via the Kisi App and is for personal use only.
4.2 Access activity is monitored for security.
4.3 Sharing access or unauthorised use may result in immediate suspension or termination.
- PAYMENT
5.1 Contracted Membership Payment Obligations
All contracted memberships require full payment for the entire minimum term, regardless of attendance or usage. Payments are collected via monthly Direct Debit.
The following memberships are contracted:
• 12-Month Contract Membership – 12 payments
• Corporate Membership – 12 payments
• Student Membership – 6 payments
• Summer Sale Membership – 12 payments
• First Birthday Membership – 12 payments
• Loyalty Membership (Existing £34.99) – 12 months with lifetime price lock
• Loyalty Membership (New £37.99) – 12 months with 36-month price lock
• Age 62+ Membership – 12 payments
• Elite Membership (Contract Option) – 12 payments
Failure to maintain payments does not cancel your contract.
CityFit reserves the right to recover the full remaining balance of any contract.
5.2 Monthly Rolling Memberships
- Monthly rolling memberships are billed monthly in advance via Direct Debit
• Memberships continue on a rolling basis until cancelled in accordance with these Terms
• Cancellation is completed solely by the Member cancelling their Direct Debit with their bank
• Once CityFit receives notification from its payment provider that the Direct Debit has been cancelled, the membership will terminate with immediate effect.
• No notice period applies
Important Payment & Liability Clarification:
Cancelling a Direct Debit does not cancel or waive any payment already due or outstanding at the time of cancellation.
Any unpaid fees, administration charges, or other sums owed remain payable and may be pursued through debt recovery.
If a Member later chooses to rejoin CityFit after cancellation, a joining fee will apply at the prevailing rate, as for new members, regardless of previous membership history.
5.3 Elite Membership – Inclusions & Usage Rules
Includes:
• 24/7 gym access
• Unlimited group classes
• Monthly online training programme + meal plan
• 1 sauna session per month
• 10 protein shakes OR 10 pre-workout servings per month
• 1 guest pass per month
Guest Pass Rules:
• One guest per month
• Must be booked in advance
• Must sign in at reception
• Non-transferable
• Restricted at busy periods
• At CityFit’s discretion
Shake / Pre-Workout:
• Staffed hours only
• No cash alternative
• No rollovers
Sauna:
• One session per month
• Booking required
• Subject to availability
• No rollovers
CityFit may amend Elite benefits with reasonable notice.
5.4 Promotions
- Must be applied at signup
• Automatically revert to standard pricing when expired
• CityFit may withdraw promotions at any time
5.5 Gym Closures & Non-Attendance
Membership fees remain payable regardless of attendance.
Temporary closures may occur for maintenance, safety, or emergency reasons.
5.6 Failed Payments & Administration Fees
If a Direct Debit payment fails for any reason, including insufficient funds or cancellation without settlement of amounts due, a £15 administration fee will be applied per failed payment.
Repeated failed payments may result in:
• Suspension of gym access
• Referral to a third-party debt recovery agency
• Recovery of outstanding balances, administration fees, and associated legal or recovery costs
CityFit reserves the right to pursue all sums owed regardless of membership status or access suspension.
5.7 Price Changes (Rolling Memberships Only)
CityFit may amend the monthly fee for rolling memberships by providing at least 4 weeks’ notice.
If the Member does not wish to continue at the revised price, they may cancel their membership by cancelling their Direct Debit before the new price takes effect.
5.8 Debt Recovery
If any payment remains unpaid for 14 days or more, or if two consecutive Direct Debit payments fail, the account may be referred to CityFit’s appointed debt recovery agency:

The Member authorises CityFit and its agents to recover:
• Outstanding membership fees
• Administration fees
• Recovery, tracing, and legal costs incurred
Gym access may be suspended or permanently revoked during the recovery process.
Debt recovery action may continue after membership termination, cancellation, or access removal.
5.9 Annual Memberships (Paid in Full) – Strict No Refund Policy
All memberships paid in full upfront for a fixed 12-month term are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
Once payment has been made, no refunds (full or partial) will be issued under any circumstances, including:
• Change of personal circumstances
• Moving away / relocation
• Medical reasons
• Lack of use
• Dissatisfaction
• Any other reason
By purchasing an annual paid-in-full membership, the Member confirms full acceptance that all payments are final.
5.10 Group Classes Only – Credit Pack Terms
The 10 Class Credit Pack is strictly for group class participation only and does not include gym floor access outside of scheduled class times.
By purchasing this pack, the Member agrees:
• Includes 10 group class sessions only
• All credits must be used within 2 months of purchase
• Credits do not roll over and are non-refundable
• Classes must be booked via the CityFit App
• Entry permitted only for booked class time and duration
Misuse Policy:
Any misuse including:
• Using the gym outside class time
• Using equipment before or after class
• Sharing access
Will result in:
• Immediate loss of all remaining credits
• Permanent ban from CityFit Brentford
• No refund issued
- MEMBERSHIP FREEZE
- Minimum 1 week
• Maximum 1 month per 6 months
• 14 days’ notice required
• Reduced freeze fee applies
• Up to 3 months allowed in special cases upon request
- GYM CLOSURES
CityFit may suspend access and payments during full closures beyond our control.
- COOLING-OFF PERIOD
- Online sign-up: 14 days
• In-branch sign-up: 7 days
• Refunds are pro-rated if access is used
- TERMINATION
9.1 Contracted Memberships
Memberships with a minimum contractual term (including but not limited to 12-month, student, corporate, loyalty, promotional, or elite contract memberships) may not be terminated early.
After the minimum contracted term ends the membership will carry on as a monthly rolling membership.
Failure to attend the gym, non-usage, Direct Debit cancellation, or access suspension does not cancel the contractual obligation to pay.
CityFit reserves the right to recover the full remaining balance of the contract.
9.2 Monthly Rolling Memberships
Monthly rolling memberships terminate when the Member cancels their Direct Debit and CityFit receives confirmation of cancellation from its payment provider.
Termination does not affect:
• Any fees already charged
• Any fees due for the current billing period
• Any outstanding balances or administration fees
All outstanding sums remain payable and may be pursued through debt recovery or legal action if necessary.

• Unforeseeable losses
• Member misuse
• Events beyond our control
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

- GENERAL
- English law applies
• Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction
• Rights of Third Parties Act 1999 excluded
